Fr Noel D’Almeida, Henry D’Silva Suratkal and lead actress Ester Noronha also spoke a few words on the movie. Local priests Fr Noel D’Almeida, Fr Franco and Fr Xavier were present during the occasion. They spoke a few words on the film festival and wished bright future for Konkani Cinema.

The movie started with a short introduction by compere Lydia Misquith. The films screened incorporated a strong cast of talented actors and actresses who easily charmed the audience with their extraordinary performance. The Goan Cultural Centre Kuwait, in association with T-Bush International Films and Konkani Community of Holy Family Cathedral, presented the first ever Konkani Film Festival in Kuwait featuring 6 Konkani movies.
